Update: the owner's response is peculiar. I have been to sex clubs all over the country and most of them accept credit cards so there must be other reasons. The hours are also ludicrous. Close by midnight on a Saturday? If your business practices and decisions are that nonsensical, I'm not surprised that the bank dropped you. Cash only is ridiculous. Is this some kind of nostalgia thing? You know how much business you are losing with your antiquated system? Get with the times.
We arrived at the club and everything was fine. A guy said have a look around and told this Asian man to leave us alone. We started looking around. Then an Asian man tried to make me grab his down area to which I said no we don't do that. He then again grabbed my wife. This is when we left as we said no before. The facility toilets were terrible people have violated them overall a bad experience.
Tried to stop by on a Friday night late, figured I would buy a membership and check things out, then circle back on a different night if I liked what I saw. I showed up around 9:15 PM on a Friday night and the sign on the door said closed, try again another time. What kind of place closes early on a Friday night? Guess I’ll try again sometime, but this is pretty disappointing.
Not worth paying USD40/AUD60 per person when there was only 3 guys in the club (one of them was sleeping 😴) specially on a Saturday night!! Like a previous comment, they should have advised us when we got in if the club was busy or not!. We left after 15 minutes it was so bad. To top it up, we were given a $5 off coupon for our next visit!! 😏
I was hesitant to try out Eros new location given the review left by some people. I finally went and to my surprise the facility was quite nice and enjoyable. Granted, it's smaller without sauna and steam room but all facilities are well maintained with good ambiance for fun. And I had fun. The staff were friendly and helpful. They seem to do their best to keep the play space clean and functional. I understand the big challenge of running this type of business after covid and truly appreciate the tenacity of management to keep this gay fun space open. Yes, it's not perfect but it's good enough and I still much prefer this space to meet and connect with my sex positive comrades than using grindr or scruff.
