I came here with a group of 8 people total and come on a Wednesday with an hour and half till close then talk to the person taking money and I ask if it was possible to have some sort of break on the entrance fee considering i am coming with multiple people but I was told it was £7 per person. I ask how many people were downstairs and the person had a counter and he checked it said 53 people downstairs which isn't busy. I believe we were treated with being left out of inclusivity. We all had money to spend but the variables on us coming inside was lost in translation. Thank you.
Since the refurb in September the venue has really changed! All new door staff, all new bar staff, all new entertainment and a whole new venue! Loads better
Glam has recently had a refurb and changed all their bar staff, door staff and management and the change shows. It’s a warm, welcoming late night venue with the best music especially on a Sunday (dj meekay is amazing)!! Saying that there are amazing djs 7 days a week. With great drink prices and the best atmosphere on the scene what’s not to love.
I visited this place yesterday and was really disappointed with the experience. I was wearing my comfortable Birkenstock shoes, but I was denied entry because they were deemed unacceptable. The staff required that I purchase cheap foam flip-flops for £5 in order to be allowed inside. Make it make sense?? Like what????….It didn’t make sense to me because my shoes felt safer and more appropriate than the flip-flops. Eventually, I was asked to leave because they didn’t have my size in the required footwear, and I wasn’t offered any refund despite having been there for only a few minutes. Overall, I found the policy confusing and the experience frustrating. I hope they can improve their customer service and policies in the future. I’ve visited this place a few times and had no problem, due to all this because of shoes then venue definitely missed out on the opportunity to make money from me and my friends. Never had an issue with this place before, I’ve been here on multiple occasions with my Birkenstock shoes - their new door lady (older, white hair) was a total disgrace to me. So rude. Me and my friends were not drunk during this interaction may I add also. I suggest you fire that new door lady, she’s a incredibely rude. Feel free to check your CCTV too. Not coming again
I had a lovely night with my friends, but the floor is too slippery it’s ridiculous. I saw 1 person fall over and other people taking care not to fall. If u want to dance it is quite dangerous someone could seriously get hurt. One of the staff starting the clean the floor but honestly I don’t think it made any difference
