Dudley's

The shows were alright , great outfits but I thought the entertainment would dance more to there skit or whatever u call it. The queens were friendly and the staff was nice. The bars a lil too small. The drag queens who perform are definitely having fun. I wish they would be more entertaining and not just lip sing. Not alot of seating and i suggest get there atleast an hour before to see shows .

What is now my ex-husband and I would stop here for drinks while on vacation and doing a day trip to Charleston to shop. The drink prices appeared to be exorbitant and changed every time we were there. We concluded we were being ripped off because they knew we weren’t from there and quit stopping in eventually. Once, a group of guys pulled all the chairs from all the available tables for their group, leaving us nowhere to sit. They just stared at us. This place is essentially a box with no aesthetics or atmosphere. A poor excuse for a LGBT bar.

Karaoke Tuesday night. Mixed crowd of people, good sound system, online song requests and queueing. The host was fun and made sure everyone was welcome/invited to sing. Many people were using vape/ e-cigarettes indoors.

Dudley’s is truly a gem and an essential part of Charleston’s nightlife. As the only gay bar in Charleston, Dudley’s provides a welcoming, inclusive, and safe space where everyone can be unapologetically themselves. The atmosphere is always warm, energetic, and full of community spirit. Broke Collins deserves special recognition for bringing incredible entertainment and heart to the space. The performances are fun, bold, and full of personality, and they consistently create nights that are memorable and uplifting. You can feel the passion and effort that goes into every event. Dudley’s isn’t just a bar—it’s a community hub, a place of celebration, and a reminder of how important queer spaces are, especially in the South. Grateful to have a place like this in Charleston that continues to show up, stand proud, and bring people together.

Went here for a sunday night drag show with some friends and also alot of our first drag show experience! We had a great time and all the ladies were great and very crowd involved especially for the couple of Bachelorette and birthday party groups they had. It was a very entertaining and funny show and the drinks although kinda limited as far as selection were great as well! The bartenders that night were super friendly and very quick even while busy. Well deff be back again!
