GREAT FRIENDLY ENERGY! We popped in for a drink and a couple of songs while visiting Montreal. Friendly attentive staff and the karaoke host got us into rotation right away. It’s a super friendly crowd (mixed demographic) that are supportive of all singers. I would definitely return when in town again.
Being a visitor to Montreal ——-After going to dozen places for fun and entertainment during cold January nights and being met with boring nightlife spaces huge disappointment—-and not active gay night life or energy and empty clubs and bars —-if they are even open to begin with . Was referred to this spot. And High positive energy moment you walked in!!!! Finally a great fun energy and crowd for a weekday. Def recommend this spot for fun and people and lively staff !
BEWARE: DJ will remove your name from the queue without notice and award your slots to himself or his friends/favourite patrons. In my case he even bragged to me at the end of the night about how great it had been for him without knowing I was one of those paying customers whose turn he denied so he could indulge himself. Too bad because the absolute darling of a doorman (Stephen) and the bar staff were beyond expectations and really were friendly, efficient and patient, but this guy just ruined our night. I'm a longtime singer and karaoke enjoyer, I came at about half past midnight with a large group of people from work even though I didn't really have money to spare and really should've gone home because I haven't been able to sing publicly in a long time and was really made to look forward to it. So I entered my name into the queue upon arriving, paid twice the normal amount for a beer thinking I'd drink it and go after I'd had my turn. After almost an hour though I began to notice some of my colleagues, including ones who arrived after me, had already gotten two, three turns and the DJ had awarded himself a similar amount, while myself and other friends who had entered their names a long time ago ended up staying until last call and were never called. So basically I spent over fifty dollars I didn't have and wasted what should have been a productive night on the false promise that I would get a service, and instead ended up paying for some unknown guy to pick a setlist he likes and perform in front of a captive audience. Will not return. 🤷🏼♀️
Great vibe, great drinks, and great people! Would definitely love to come back for karaoke. Fun lighting, nice stage, and clean toilets in basement (gender neutral). They have delicious NA drinks! Highly recommend!
If you've never gone to a karaoke bar, here's the following information you need to know: 1. No reservations are needed unless you're a group of 4 people and more. 2. The only "fee" to partake in the karaoke is to buy a drink. Expect to pay 9$ for a beer 3. You have to look at the song catalogue they have online and search if your song is the system 4.Submit your song and then they'll call you when it's your turn. If there is a lot of people, expect like a 30-45 minute wait. 5. The stage is all yours, so all you have left is to sing your heart out and enjoy your time there! Loved the place. It's small, but everyone there is very chill. I'll have to come again. The staff is super nice and very welcoming 🙏 The staff there is also super talented! They are all amazing singers! You won't be disappointed! If your server is Fred, you'll be treated like a king. I really recommend this place.
