Predigerhof Bistro Bar

I was here on September 5, 2025. So before walking in I was a little hesitant about this place because of the reviews. However it was my last night in Zurich and I wanted to go to a bar so I ended up going anyways. I sat down and ordered some wine. The female bartender I ordered with did not seem interested in helping me. Then some creepy guy that I noticed standing outside of the establishment approaches me and started asking me all of these questions. I think his native language is German, his English wasn’t the best. So then he pulls out his phone, types on Google Translate just to ask me if I wanted cocaine???. I respectfully declined. Then the bartender came back with my drink. As the creepy guy is still talking to me, I inspect the glass then take a few sips of my wine. A few minutes later, I started feeling weak, started feeling numbness in my legs and feet. I suspected that the female bartender spiked my drink with drugs. I also feel like the creepy guy was in kahoots with the bartender. So once I started noticing the signs, I immediately asked for the bill, payed and stormed right out of the establishment. I tried walking really fast to the closing train station making sure no one was following me. But I was sooo weak, I could barely walk that I had to call an uber back to my hotel. So If you are a black, African American male or woman traveling to Switzerland, avoid this bar at all costs!!!! Shame on you people, trying to drug me 😒

The place was empty and more importantly I was charged an insane amount for a simple soda (sparkling water) by an over-enthusiastic waitress who also reached over and was clicking my credit card options for me. I want to see all gay bars succeed but I honestly did not have an amazing experience. I do not recommend it.

I have never felt more welcome anywhere in Zurich! The bar is fantastic, the food is delicious, the service is impeccable and the music rocks!

We entered during a slower time and usually I expect better service at that time but instead the bartender spent all his energy on his friends who were there. Our drinks were extremely overpriced. It was $80 usd for 2 rounds - each just having basic gin/tonic and vodka/soda. The bartender didn’t mix anything just poured liquor in a glass with ice and opened the mixer. In comparison up the street we went to an Indian restaurant and got a whole sampler of appetizers, 2 chicken entrees, naan, and 4 glasses of wine for almost the same price. Maybe not a direct comparison but one nonetheless. If you are looking for friendly gay atmosphere look elsewhere. If you want a bargain, run away

One of the best bar in Zürich , a nice vibe Yes it’s an Gay bar but the workers there : Marcelo, Viktoria, Kim and Thomas they are just the best Vibes of the place , you can share a good positive energy always. Saw a lot of bad experience in the Reviews but really don’t know where they have got it. Truly recommend it for all open and free people who take life easy without any any complaints .
