I’ve had issues with this venue for over a year. They’ve found every reason they can think of not to let regular queens in, particularly queens of colour and i’m not ashamed to voice this. There was an issue was last year, emotions were high and I tried to resolve issues with the bouncers and managers personally. We wiped the slate clean but the problem persisted. I’ve been buying tickets on the Cruz app fair and square for months and last night they refused entry even though I had a valid ticket. I asked for the manager and they made it hard for me to speak with him for a refund for the ticket. I even called reception while I was there and they intercepted the call. I ended up walking away and decided I’d get a refund through my bank and Alison literally chased me down princess street on the guise that it’s her “place of work” so she has a right to follow me. I know you’ll see this so I say this, My last review didn’t even mention Alison’s name but she accused me of calling her out personally but Alison, you made it personal when you followed me down the street tonight. They are frankly a racist venue and I won’t be spending a penny more here.

Great club but not really my vibe of music choice. The club has such a potential for also some great electronic music… like minimal techno or house music… it was all the mainstream music.. If you know what i mean…

Bouncers are extremely rude and patronising, I’ve noticed this especially being a gay woman going into this club, especially from the female bouncer which I find even more weird? They often claim people are too drunk to get into the club even when you can clearly see a person isn’t. But then will let certain people who a clearly heavily intoxicated and on something in with no issue (favouritism at its finest) They also do nothing to stop harassment inside, it’s like they are just glorified scarecrows stopping people getting in but do nothing for the people inside. Bar and door staff however are lovely so props to them for making people feel welcome after getting past the bouncers.

The door staff is were kind, respectful and helpful (and even when driunk. Emily espcially really helped me when I was struggling trying to get a taxi (helping me get a taxi on Uber) and leading me into a taxi. I couldn’t ask for better door poeple!

Nice place to visit, maybe need more bar staff as it was exceptionally busy. The staff were friendly, quick to deliver the orders and it was good value for money. Except for being charged £8.40 for two bottles of water which cost about £3. Per dozen in the shop. The vodka cocktails were fantastic, strong, I loved it! Well until the next morning but nobody needs that review. Whole experience was positive. Worth a visit.
