It’s a shame that all “gayness” from what was Soho’s greatest gay bar has been eradicated from Circa - is it even a gay bar any more ? From the pictures of the hot guys on the wall to the mention of it even being a gay bar on the screens. There are better queer spaces to go in Soho that don’t seem to be in the closet.
Been coming to this bar for a while a must visit when in Soho for me. I likes it's chilled relaxed atmosphere, the bar has 2 areas the main bar area with a DJ and a quieter area as you enter the bar from the street. Can always get a drink in a timely manner no mad ques, no getting bumped into.
Nice place and good drinks. A small minus cause glasses felt a bit dirty/sticky.
Bit of a peculiar vibe to this establishment. Slightly odd staff and not as full as you’d think for a Friday night. Drinks weren’t too expensive but lacked a certain pizazz. Not awful but potentially would give it a miss.
This place is such a vibe. The crowd is friendly without being cliquey, and the music strikes the perfect balance between fun and danceable without ever feeling cheesy. The bartenders know how to mix a drink properly and keep the energy up all night. What I love most is that it feels inclusive—whether you come with friends or solo, you’ll find people to chat with and dance alongside. The design is modern but cozy, with just enough edge to make it feel like a hidden gem rather than a tourist spot. Definitely one of those bars that makes you want to stay until closing.
