Music can be off sometimes. Depending on a DJ. Sometimes it’s just very random songs that are either not electronic nor pop. Expect huge queues on late night weekends. Sometimes they don’t turn on AC and it can be really stuffy. Really bad toilet placement as you need to go cross the dance floor which can be uncomfortable.
Fun place for gay crowd, good pop 70/80/90ish music, good looking guys, everything was great. Totally recommended
What I loved most was the vibe — it’s lively, welcoming, and feels like a community. Whether you’re coming with friends or solo, you don’t feel out of place. Definitely a go-to if you want good energy, good drinks, and a space where everyone feels included.
The Cock Tavern near Kennington is a solid spot for a night out. The security and bar staff are friendly and professional, the cocktails are fantastic, and the vibe is upbeat with pop music keeping the energy high. However, the DJ with the skinhead and fishnets was a major letdown. Their rude and unwelcoming attitude stood out in stark contrast to the otherwise warm and lively atmosphere. It’s a shame, as the rest of the experience was great, but the DJ’s behavior definitely soured the night.
Newish gay bar. We came on a Sunday afternoon, it was quiet before the quiz. Pleasant music. Good atmosphere. Drinks seemed a bit on the pricy side.
