I stopped by a few days ago, and my experience was a bit disappointing. I simply wanted to be a bit connected to the community while I am here visiting for a month. The older man who talked with me was very discouraging and a bit condescending. He basically said that, since I am here for only a month and because I don’t speak French very well (I’m constantly learning), that there was really nothing that they could recommend. He handed me a copy of the local gay magazine and said I could “ check out the bars”. I explained Im not interested in bars (I don’t drink), and I’d even be happy to help out somewhere. He again lectured me about not being around long enough to be of use. I do note that these types of centers are helpful for lots of people around the world, and I appreciate the support that they provide to the community. Perhaps my recent experience was just an unusual occurrence….but I felt embarrassed by his treatment of me, and I certainly am not inclined to visit or recommend this center to visitors.

Hii everyone ,,, I come to live in France paris because I am a member of lgbtq 🏳️‍🌈. I have no rights to stay in my country plus they won’t accept me for who I am that’s why I decided to leave my country and come to live in France forever 😔. I m actually a female but I want to became a male I really want to transition my female into male but I can’t afford enough money for this 😔 can anyone tell me is there any sponsorship organization???? Where I can get donation if I want to ??? Thank you guys 😔

Welcoming space for LGBT community. As an immigrant who spent times in different « smaller towns », I find this place to be the most welcoming and most organized when it comes to serving the community and dealing with different issues. English speaking too if you don’t speak French.
