Genuinely really like this place. I’ve been here quite a few times, usually on weekends, but recently came in during the week after a tough period with my job, and the staff made a real difference to my day. I wasn’t expecting anything more than a drink and maybe a brief hello, but from the moment I sat at the bar I was welcomed with a smile and a simple “how’re you doing?” and it felt genuine, so what started as light small talk turned into a bit of a chat about my week; it was unexpectedly cathartic, and then just genuinely a good time I didn’t feel like I was drinking alone at all as the staff and regulars create a really warm, friendly atmosphere, and it’s something I really appreciate, also Chris, the bouncer who I usually see there on weekends, is also always kind and welcoming. I’d actually come from another pub earlier that day, and the difference in hospitality was night and day. This place just feels more personable, inclusive, and comfortable to be in so I’m pretty happy it exists as that late afternoon made such a difference to my day.

Great beer selection, awesome music, and a solid place to shoot some pool or just chill with friends. Definitely worth stopping in.

The dance floor is fantastic, with a DJ spinning great tunes that kept everyone moving. Whether you're looking to dance the night away or just enjoy some good music, this place has it all. The drink selection is impressive, with a wide variety of cocktails, beers, and spirits to choose from. I tried a few different drinks, and each one was delicious! One of my favorite features was the upper-level open patio with a BBQ grill. It’s the perfect spot to relax and enjoy some fresh air while still being part of the lively atmosphere below. Additionally, having a coat check available was a nice touch, making it easy to enjoy the night without worrying about my belongings. Overall, Black eagle is a must-visit if you're in the area.
