The energy was electric from start to finish. The parade was beyond colorful — full of love, creativity, and powerful messages of equality and inclusion. Every float told a story, and you could really feel the sense of community and pride in the air. What I loved most was how welcoming and safe it felt. People from all walks of life came together to celebrate diversity, and the atmosphere was pure joy. The performances, music, and outfits were next level — truly a world-class celebration. Sydney Mardi Gras isn’t just a party, it’s a movement and a beautiful reminder that love is love. Can’t wait to experience it again! 💖

A lot of fun. Great atmosphere. Very busy and would advise to go early for the parade to get the best view.

A great and colourful parade on Oxford Street always engages your senses. All the streets were well managed. Most obviously, there was a long queue of input (drinking beers) and output (toilet). The whole neighbouring road from oxford square was full of dancing music. The entire crowd, as well as everything around there, was just dancing with the musical beats! There was easy access from Saint James, Central, Museum, and the main city. It's the best parade speaking up the slogans and themes of differently oriented groups.

A wonderful celebration of the LGBT community in Australia. The parade this year marked it's fortieth anniversary and it was even more special due to marriage equality being recently approved by the Australians. The parade goes down Oxford Street, the heads of the LGBT community in Sydney. It's very busy, very messy and very crowded. This is a party that all Aussies turn out for. The parade lasted between four and five hours with over 200 individual floats. It's a festive event!
