“If you love Hillcrest, then you'll love MO's. It's become a symbol for the best of one of San Diego's finest neighborhoods. The food is fantastic and the drinks are strong. Everything is reasonably priced and the music is fire. Also, parking is standard rare for the area, but there is a decent garage very close by. This is a great spot for gathering before, during, and/or after any nearby festivals or just a fun night out.”
“Fantastic all around, 10s across the board. My husband and I stopped in the day of the marathon, which we were unaware of, so had to walk 10mins from a lot, but worth it! The staff were friendly, menu options aplenty, and the vibes are great. I was unsure the heat level of the chilaquiles, so I asked for sauce on the side. Per the chef’s request, I was brought a sample of the sauce to test because they wanted to make sure I could enjoy the meal as it’s meant to be with the sauce all over, not on the side. Bottomless mimosas were good and worth the price. Our meals were 10s!!! The rosemary biscuits and gravy were 🤤, so rosemary-y. The chilaquiles 🤤, not soggy, very fresh. We wish we could’ve brought leftovers home, but we were coming from out of town. We’ll definitely be back and thank you to Kamden (sp) and the training server (sorry I can’t remember your name!). You both were so attentive, and we hope to see you and a drag show next time we’re in 😊”
“Phones are regularly stolen here, enough to where there needs to be a large sign warning when you first walk in. My phone was stolen. Staff just shrugs. They know this is a recurring thing and they do nothing to give people a heads up. Maybe because it’s someone that works there that is doing it. My phone was stolen right out of my bag on the dance floor. ONLY keep your phone in a compartment that has a zipper. Don’t keep it in your pocket. Don’t have it just laying in your bag easily accessible. Thank me later!!”
