Nick is fantastic! Enigmatic and enthusiastic! That’s Charisma Uniqueness Nerve and Talent to a tee honey! Oh I do wish he served drinks as well as being out on the floor. Hard to find a moment to chat when they’re busy lugging ice bins and glasses. Someone. Please. Give him a shaker!

I decided to bring my beautiful dog Muffin here because I heard they allow dogs here. The bartender was very welcoming, but then he referred to Muffin as a doberman. I was shocked that I heard this as Muffin is a doberwoman. I had informed him of Muffin's proper pronouns, but the bartender simply laughed and didn't apologize. Me and Muffin immediately left, but Muffin has been severely traumatized from this experience. It is a real shame that in today's age, poor Muffin wasn't given the respect she deserves and was referred to by the wrong pronouns.

My all time favorite bar in StL. I always feel at home here and I love meeting up with friends at Just John when I'm in town. Bartenders are fabulous, extremely kind, and make a fantastic drink. The owners continuously make improvements, even though it's already a beautiful space. Here you can find the best entertainment, the loveliest patio with gorgeous plants & trees, with live music during nice weather. The owners do so much for the LGBTQI community, and offer an inclusive, welcoming vibe. If you're visiting the area and looking for the best gay bar, or safe space to have a cocktail, Just John is a must go.

I was truly impressed with my visit to this establishment. What was particularly remarkable and what I greatly appreciated was, I walked in--a "no one" off the street-- and asked if they were showing the Chiefs game. Without hesitation, the person I spoke to said they weren't but they would put it on one of their screens and they shortly did. Most places would just give you a flat and absolute "no", so I valued their easy hospitality, felt welcomed, and enjoyed a few ciders (especially one which one of the staff recommended ). Thanks!

Great bar! The bartenders were very kind and quick to get orders out. Drinks were solid, and VERY well priced. Patio was a nice touch, didn’t even know it existed for the first hour lol. They had karaoke 🎤 and people were vibing well. Would definitely go again :)
