We had a wonderful evening at the ally cat. The day we went did not have much people at first so we were able to walk right in. We made our way to the bar and eventhou the bar tender was serving other people about 6 seats down from us, he used he peripherals to notice us and looked over and said "I got yall, one moment". In less than 2 minutes he asked us what we were drinking. We have been to many bars and had many variations of an Irish car bomb but this place definitely got it right. It was so perfect and delicious that I ordered 3 more rounds of it. By 11pm the place got more crowded and the music got louder and very good. Good atmosphere, good dancing, all round great experience. Oops, I almost forgot to mention that we had burgers and fries and they were huge and juicy. I was very impressed with the quality of the meat and how soft the bread was. The French fries were at the perfect crisp and definitely went down well with some ranch. The veggie toppings tastes as if it came from the garden of ehden. If you are I. Town you should definitely stop by. Lots of good backdrops to take memorable photos as well.

I am little mixed about this bar, because of the patrons. Not really friendly and seemed pretentious and I’m not sure why? 🤷🏻‍♂️ Bars are a space for everyone. The POSITIVES are that this is a cute bar, clean l, great music and the two bar tenders both smiled, said hello and welcomed me which made the difference. Kindness goes a long way. I drove 1500+ miles to experience Providence, so thank you guys. They know how to make good drinks and offered lots of variety. Also loved the wild door handle, can’t post a picture. You’ll just have to go see it.

Along with the adjoining Dark Lady, this is our favorite bar in Providence. Everyone is welcome, the staff is friendly and the music and funky decor are excellent. Because of coronavirus the Alley Cat is currently being used as the service bar for the Dark Lady and it is not open to the public. The Dark Lady which is normally a dance club, has been reconfigured with suitably-spaced tables and is for the moment a chill cocktail lounge. Still well worth a visit.
