ABC Bailão

How sad!! Over 15 years I’m coming to São Paulo as a visitor and married to my lovely Brazilian husband, and we both loved the ABC Bailão! For its friendly atmosphere, it’s fabulous mixture of music and it’s fair prices… All seemed to have gone…. Strange regulation of leaving the club ONLY for a smoke (which I don’t!) if u want to reenter… all drinks prizes gone up steeply… (a non alcoholic beer costs 5Rs more than a BRAHMA Can ( ??? Why) that medieval paying system (only good for the owners, because u always loose with those stupid little vouchers 🤨🤦🏼‍♂️ but mainly and most annoying, the two useless "d.js". Their music choice seems to be coming from a playlist or a USB stick. Two weekends running, they 'played' more or less the exact tunes… terrible 😞 Before there was always a little break of MPB or even sertanejo and the crowd loved it. Now, half of the dancefloor stands around and sips their drinks. Missing you , Bailão from the past :-/

Wonderful place for great fun with friends. Great music friendly ambient really recommend .

IF YOU’RE GAY AVOID THIS PLACE. They pretend to be gay friendly but it’s just a scene. Guards took me off because I’m not in the “standards” the house (so why that let me in ?) There are so many good bars/clubs in SP, avoid this one

To be honest, everyone is super nice. There is very little pretence and everyone can be themselves. I had an amazing time. Staff is great (and good looking!).
