This was an absolutely amazing museum and I recommend it to anyone in the area. It shows the crossover between queer rights, feminism, socialism and general liberation and the exhibits are so cool and insightful. My favourite thing was reading the "snap" moments that other people wrote up on the wall. Take a read through them when you visit, maybe you'll come across mine!

This museum is beautiful. The exhibitions are very well curated and accessible in multiple languages. Nice atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff, and wonderful work. I loved the exhibit on Queer Ukrainian art. Would love to visit again someday!

Nice small museum, good atmosphere and interesting and diverse exhibition. I really appreciated the information, although not all is available in both German and English so I had to translate for my girlfriend as much as I could. We really appreciated the Ukrainian exhibition, where the portrets of famous people made a big impression on how in Ukrainian culture famous people are known yet invisible in the "queer" part of their identity. Looking with intent, at the right angle, their faces appear. Very symbolic and touching.

The Schwules Museum is an absolute gem in Berlin! The exhibitions are beautifully curated, informative, and exceptionally well-presented. The curator has done an outstanding job creating such interesting and thought-provoking displays. The location itself is fantastic, and there’s a small bookshop with a great selection that’s definitely worth browsing. Plus, the café is a lovely spot — not only does it look great, but the coffee tastes amazing too! This is exactly what Berlin needs — a space that’s both meaningful and enjoyable. Highly recommend visiting!

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to this museum. It offered fascinating insights into LGBTQIA+ history, covering topics such as sex work and its cultural context. The exhibits were incredibly informative. I visited here on a Museumssontag so it was free entry.
